The Story

This album was recorded RAK Studios, London, Jan – March 1989. It was produced by Ted Hawkins and Michael Messer. It formed part of a three sided project that would have included a film and a book about Ted. However, the record company went bust and the other parts of the project were abandoned. Only 200 copies of the CD were made (total sales, including vinyl, were just 700). The record company, PT records, went bust at the time. So the project was effectively dead and buried.

Michael Messer tells me that this was Ted's favourite album of his own work and it formed the blueprint for "The Next Hundred Years."
